SEATTLE – The No. 19 Husky women's tennis team (9-1, 2-0 Big Ten) will welcome familiar foes USC and UCLA to Seattle this weekend for the first home matches as members of the Big Ten.
Friday's B1G Kickoff match against the No. 18 USC Trojans will begin with doubles at noon. Arrive early to grab a Big Dawg Energy sticker and B1G clear bag while supplies last at the marketing table upstairs in Nordstrom Tennis Center.
Sunday's match against No. 26 UCLA will be UW's Green Match. Fans can visit the Husky sustainability table to learn more about how UW Athletics supports sustainability.
LAST TIME OUT
Washington is 2-0 to begin Big Ten play, earning two dominant 4-0 sweeps over Maryland and No. 74 Rutgers on the road.
The Huskies have won doubles in nine of their 10 matches this season, as McKenna Koenig and Carina Syrtveit won their sixth straight match at No. 3 doubles at Rutgers on Sunday.

USC is 6-2 so far this season, recently beating crosstown rival UCLA 4-3 in the programs' first ever meeting as Big Ten opponents. Friday will be the first road match of the season for the Trojans.
The Huskies faced USC three times last season as the Trojans won all three matchups. First up was a 4-3 Trojan victory in UW's second match of ITA National Team Indoors in Seattle. The Huskies fell to USC 1-4 in Los Angeles in dual play. The Trojans swept Washington 4-0 in the second round of the Pac-12 Championships in Ojai in the final Pac-12 match for UW.

The Huskies have faced one time already this season, as the Bruins won 4-0 in the ITA Kickoff Weekend match in Los Angeles to earn a spot at ITA National Team Indoors.
UCLA is 5-4 and is coming off two losses at San Diego State (3-4) and at USC (3-4). The Bruins will play at Oregon on Friday, March 14 before coming to Seattle Sunday.
UCLA swept Washington 4-0 last season in LA in Pac-12 regular season play.
