
Another Top-10 Road Test For Huskies As UW Jets To No. 8 Ohio State

SEATTLE – The Washington women's basketball team (13-8, 4-5 Big Ten) will encounter its third Top-10 team this season as the Huskies will face the Buckeyes Sunday, Feb. 2 in Value City Arena in the Schottenstein Center.
Jason Ross Jr. (play-by-play) and Autumn Johnson (analyst) will be on the Big Ten Network broadcast, which is set to tipoff at 2 p.m. PT. Gary Hill will call the action on 1090 KPTR-AM.
Sunday will mark just the fourth fifth overall meeting between these two teams, who have not faced one another since 2018.
Ohio State (19-1, 8-1 Big Ten) will welcome back former Buckeyes on Sunday for alumnae day in its first ever Big Ten matchup with the Huskies.
LAST TIME OUT
The Huskies nearly overcame a double-digit deficit in the fourth quarter at home against Indiana, but the Hoosiers came away with a 73-70 win.
Dalayah Daniels poured in a season-high 21 points on 9-of-12 shooting. Sayvia Sellers and Devin Coppinger each added 11 and Elle Ladine had 10.

The Buckeyes are 19-1 through their first 20 games of the season (8-1 B1G), with the only blemish to their record coming at the hands of Penn State in a 62-59 loss in University Park, Pa.
The most recent meeting between the Buckeyes and the Huskies happened on Dec. 5, 2018 in Seattle when Washington earned its first win of the series (69-59).
This is the third time the Huskies and Buckeyes meet under Ohio State head coach Kevin McGuff, who coached at Washington for two seasons (2011-13) and compiled a 41-26 record. The Dawgs reached the WNIT during each of his two seasons, making it as far as the quarterfinals in his first season in Seattle.
