CARY, N.C. - For the second time in five years, Washington will play for the national championship. The Huskies are set to face No. 15 NC State in the College Cup final on Monday night, with kickoff slated for 4 p.m. PT. The match will be broadcast on ESPNU with live stats available at HuskyStats.com.
COLLEGE CUP HUSKIES
Washington returns to the National Championship match after a 3-1 win over No. 16 seed Furman in the semifinal round.
Washington enters the final match of the season with a 15-6-2 record and a second place finish in the Big Ten regular season standings.
The Huskies become just the second team ever to advance to the College Cup after four road victories in the NCAA Tournament in 2025. UMBC was the first to achieve the feat in 2014, ultimately falling in the semifinal round to Virginia.
SCOUTING THE WOLFPACK
NC State owns a 16-2-4 and is most recently coming off a 2-1 victory over Saint Louis in the national semifinal match. The Wolfpack earned a first round bye in the NCAA Tournament as the No. 15 seed and has collected wins over Marshall in the second round, UNCG in the third round, and Georgetown in the quarterfinals. Donavan Phillip leads the way offensively for NC State with 18 goals and two assists for 38 total points. Logan Erb has started all 22 matches in goal and averages 2.36 saves per game.

HUSKIES TAKE DOWN FURMAN IN COLLEGE CUP SEMIFINAL
Washington secured a spot in its second-ever national championship match with a 3-1 win over No. 16 Furman on Friday night. Washington was dominant all match long, stifling the Furman attack while launching an onslaught on the offensive end. Washington fired 24 shots across the 90 minutes, the second most the Huskies have tallied in a game all season long.
Zach Ramsey opened the scoring in the 32nd minute slotting home a ball from Alex Hall to put the Huskies in front. It was Ramsey's seventh goal of the season and Hall's eighth assist.Only eight minutes later, Charlie Kosakoff doubled the lead and scored the eventual game winner.
In the 86th minute, Charlie Kosakoff passed a ball across the top of the box to find a streaking Asher Hestad. The Sophomore defender took a touch before lacing a thundering ball into the top of the net.
DAWGS DOWN TERRAPINS
Washington defeated the top-remaining seed No. 4 Maryland 3-1 on Saturday to secure a spot in the 2025 College Cup. Osato Enabulele, Charlie Kosakoff, and Alex Hall fired in the goals to secure the victory.
Despite going down 1-0 early in the match, Enabulele found the equalizer before halftime. The Huskies grew into the game well and took over completely in the second half. Goals from Kosakoff and Hall sent Washington to its second-ever College Cup.
HERMANN TROPHY SEMIFINALIST
Richie Aman has been named one of 15 semifinalists for the MAC Hermann Trophy, college soccer's most prestigious award. He becomes Washington's first semifinalist since Ilijah Paul in 2022.
Aman has been one of the nation's best distributors this season, tallying 13 total assists, tied for the second-most in a single season in program history. He's also tallied multiple assists in a game on six occasions, most recently connecting for two against No. 4 seeded Maryland in the Elite Eight round of the NCAA Tournament.
In addition to his prowess as a passer, Aman has connected for multiple key goals. He scored the double overtime winner against Oregon State in the first round of the NCAA Tournament and also bagged the game-winning goal at Wisconsin. In total, he has four goals to go along with his 13 assists for 21 total points.
PAIR OF ALL-AMERICANS
Richie Aman was named a first team United Soccer Coaches All-American while Harrison Bertos was selected to the third team. Aman was named a first team selection while Bertos was named to the third team. It's the fifth time in program history that the Huskies claim multiple All-America awards in a single season. All five occasions have happened under the direction of Jamie Clark.
Aman has been a key offensive force for Washington, tallying 13 assists and four goals for 21 total points. He's already been lauded as the Big Ten Midfielder of the Year, a First Team All-Big Ten selection, and a semifinalist for the MAC Hermann Trophy.
Bertos has anchored a stout Husky defense that has recorded nine shutouts this season, including two 1-0 NCAA Tournament victories over ranked opponents. Bertos has also chipped in three goals, including two game winners, while earning First Team All-Big Ten honors.
ALL-REGION HONORS
Five Huskies were honored as United Soccer Coaches All-Region selections, the organization announced on Tuesday. Richie Aman and Harrison Bertos headlined the list as first team honorees, Jadon Bowton and Charlie Kosakoff were named second team selections, and Alex Hall rounded out the group as a member of the third team.
The five selections are the most Washington has had since 2022. Aman and Bowton are also both two-time selections after earning the All-Region honor in 2024.

With the win over SMU, Washington claimed its 12th win of the season, marking the 12th occasion in Jamie Clark's 15 years on Montlake the team has won at least 12 games. It's also the 12th time Clark has led the Huskies into the NCAA Tournament.

The Huskies have tallied 51 total goals this season, the most goals UW has scored under Jamie Clark's tenure. The second most goals scored, 48, came in 2021 and in 2022.
Charlie Kosakoff has 11 strikes to lead the team, the most since Dylan Tevez tallied 12 in 2021. Richie Aman leads the team with 13 assists, the most for a Husky since a record-setting 15 assists were dished by Wes Hart in 1998.
HUSKIES CLEAN UP BIG TEN AWARDS
Eight Huskies claimed nine Big Ten end of season awards, the second most of any team in the conference. Richie Aman headlined the list, taking home the Big Ten Midfielder of the Year award while also collecting All-Big Ten First Team honors.
