SEATTLE – Washington had a lone doubles match on the final day of the ITA Sectional Championships on Sunday at Nordstrom Tennis Center.
Reece Carter and Jermine Sherif battled with USC's Krisha Mahendran/Jana Hossam Salah in the 3-4 Playoff to determine the final doubles team to advance to the NCAA Championship, but fell 1-6, 2-6
Washington will send two doubles teams (Marie Weissheim/Alexia Jacobs, Erika Matsuda/Carina Syrtveit) and two singles players (Carter, Matsuda) to the NCAA Individual Championships in Orlando, Fla. beginning on Nov. 18.
