Two Doubles Pairs Advance To Quarterfinals

BERKELEY, Calif. – Erika Matsuda/Carina Syrtveit and Reece Carter/Jermine Sherif have advanced to Monday's doubles quarterfinals on day three of ITA Northwest Regionals.

The Dawgs won two of their doubles matches with an 8-5 victory for Matsuda/Syrtveit and an 8-7(1) win for Carter/Sherif. Alexia Jacobs/Marie Weissheim battled with Sacramento State's Irene Riva/Lou Baudouin but fell 5-8.

In the singles Round of 16, three Huskies advanced to the quarterfinals in Jacobs, Matsuda and Carter. However, all three were not able to advance to the semifinals.
