Washington Plays No. 15 Oregon Tight In 82-71 Defeat

EUGENE, Ore. (AP) – In what was a one-possession game for much of the second half, No. 15 Oregon pulled away and ultimately defeated Washington 82-71 on Tuesday night.
Great Osobor had 20 points and eight boards to lead Washington. Vazoumana Diallo tied a career-high with 18 for the Huskies (10-9, 1-7).
Osobor scored to tie the game at 62 with 5:49 left.
After the Ducks scored on consecutive possessions, Osobor's layup got the Huskies within 68-64. It capped a streak of 12 consecutive points for the Huskies' leading scorer.
After trailing 58-55 with 8:26 remaining, Oregon reeled off five straight points and was never behind again.
The Huskies jumped out to a 10-2 advantage to start the game.
Wilhelm Breidenbach scored all nine of his points in the first half to spark the run. He was 4 of 6 from the field.
Osobor went 8 of 8 from the free throw line.
