UW Men's Basketball Defeated At No. 24 Michigan 91-75

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- Washington concluded a tough road trip with a 91-75 loss to No. 24 Michigan on Sunday.
Playing against a ranked opponent for the third consecutive game, theΒ Huskies started with a 5-4 lead, but a 9-2 run put the Wolverines ahead for good.
Great Osobor tied a season high with 23 points to go along with 11 rebounds for his fifth double-double. He is the eighth Big Ten player with five or more double-doubles this season.
Osobor scored 16 points in the first 20 minutes, the most points a Husky has scored in the first half this season. At one point he scored or assisted on 13 consecutive points.
Zoom Diallo and Mekhi Mason added 13 apiece for Washington (10-7, 1-5).
The Huskies made 9 of 21 three-point shots (42.9%) and shot 41.3% overall. It was the fourth game this season UW made at least 42% of its shots from three.
Wilhelm Breidenbach made both of his three-point attempts while Osobor made two of three for his first game this season with multiple made threes.
Michigan came into the game leading the nation shooting 51.9% from the field and finished hitting 52.7% of its shots against Washington.
Washington returns home to host No. 20 Purdue on Wednesday night at Alaska Airlines Arena. Tickets are available.
