UW Wins Spring-Break Race Vs. UC San Diego

CHULA VISTA, Calif. – The Washington men's rowing team won its race this morning vs. UC San Diego, part of the Huskies' Spring Break camp here.
The UW men entered four eight-oared crews in a single, 2,000-meter heat against the Tritons' first and second varsity eights.
Washington's "A" crew won the race in 5:51.31, followed by: Washington B (5:58.99), Washington C (5:59.71); UCSD 1V (6:05.99), UCSB 2V (6:10.14), Washington (6:13.27).
On Saturday, the Huskies will row against the University of San Diego in another race, before returning to Seattle for the start of the spring quarter.
