Contributions Up And Down Lineup Lead To 13-8 Victory

Back-to-back-to-back-to-back hits by Baylee Klingler, Madison Huskey, Sami Reynolds and Olivia Johnson put the Huskies up three after one.
Oregon responded in the top of the second with five runs to take a 5-3 lead. Washington answered back in the bottom half of the inning on Klingler's fifth home run of the season to make it a one run game.
The Huskies brought across three more runs in the third on a SilentRain Espinoza double that tied the game at five. Alana Johnson followed with her first home run of the night for a two-run lead at 7-5.
Vallery Wong gave Oregon its second lead of the game with a three-run shot to center field in the fifth.
However, the Huskies responded back, tying the game again on Hobson's single to score Brooklyn Carter. Washington retook the lead on Alana Johnson's single.
Washington added four runs in the sixth on back-to-back home runs from Espinoza (three-run) and Alana Johnson (solo) to seal the game at 13-8. Both ended the night with four RBI.
Lindsay Lopez earned her fourth win of the season after coming in relief in the second inning. Lopez struck out four. Ruby Meylan picked up the save, her second on the year, after tossing the final two frames with four strikeouts.
Up next, the Huskies and Ducks go for the series tomorrow with a 12 p.m. first pitch from Husky Softball Stadium. The game will air on Pac-12 Network.

- All starters recorded a hit in the contest, doing so for the first time this season.
- The 17 hits are the most since last season against Utah Valley (15) on May 2, 2022.
- Alana Johnson hit two home runs in the game, the first time a Husky has done so since Baylee Klingler against Northern Colorado in 2022.
