
Washington Softball Announces 2024 Schedule

SEATTLE β Coming off its 15th trip to the Women's College World Series, the Washington softball team and head coach Heather Tarr announced the program's 2024 schedule Tuesday. UW's slate features 13 games at Husky Softball Stadium.

The schedule features 11 teams that reached the 2023 NCAA Tournament including five WCWS qualifiers. Nine opponents ranked in the NFCA Top 25 in the final poll of the season.

Washington kicks off the season in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico at the Puerto Vallarta College Challenge, Feb. 8-10. Over four games, the Huskies will face Nebraska, Utah Valley, Oklahoma and Iowa State.

The Huskies head to one of the premiere preseason tournaments at the Shriners Children's Clearwater Invitational Presented by EvoShield Feb. 16-18. At the event, the Huskies face Kentucky, Minnesota, Wisconsin, LSU and North Carolina. All games will be broadcasted across ESPN family of networks.

Washington will stay down in Florida to face Florida Gulf Coast on Tuesday, Feb. 20 before heading to the University of South Florida to face Oklahoma State (Feb. 22), USF (Feb. 22), Pitt (Feb. 23), Loyola-Chicago (Feb. 23) and Yale (Feb. 24).

UW closes out the nonconference tournament schedule at the Jane Sanders Classic Presented by Graduate Hotels, hosted by the University of Oregon. In Eugene, the Huskies will see Mount St. Mary's, Maryland and Florida State.

Pac-12 play begins on March 8-10 as the Huskies host Arizona State. The remaining conference homestands include UCLA (March 22-24), Oregon State (March 28-30) and Stanford (April 26-28).

On the road, Washington heads to Arizona (March 15-17), Oregon (April 5-7), California (April 19-21) and Utah (May 3-5).

Closing out the nonconference slate, the Huskies will face Seattle U at Husky Softball Stadium on April 8 and travel to Boise State on April 10.

Postseason play begins at the Pac-12 Tournament, May 8-11, hosted by Stanford. NCAA Regionals is set for May 17-19 at host institutions with Super Regionals scheduled for May 24-26. The WCWS will be held May 30-June 7 in Oklahoma City at USA Softball Hall of Fame Stadium.
