
DeBoer Earns More Preseason Accolades

SEATTLE – The preseason recognition continues to pile on for Alexis DeBoer, who was just named to USA Softball's Player of the Year Top 50 Watch List, the organization announced Wednesday.
This week, DeBoer was also named to D1 Softball's Preseason All-American Second Team.
The sophomore continues to rack up the accolades ahead of the 2026 season, as she has already been named to Softball America's Preseason All-American Second Team and the No. 33 overall player by SA.
D1 Softball also ranked her at 39th overall in the preseason individual rankings and 5th at the first base position.
DeBoer enters her sophomore campaign after a stellar first year in the purple and gold.
In 2025, she was tabbed Big Ten Freshman of the Year, an NFCA Freshman of the Year Top 10 Finalist, D1 Softball and Softball America Freshman All-American and an NFCA All-Mountain Region Second Team selection.
