January 29, 2026 | Softball
SEATTLE – Alexis DeBoer, Jadyn Glab and Morgan Reimer were named to the Big Ten Players to Watch List, the conference office announced today.
DeBoer, a sophomore from Sioux Falls, South Dakota, started in all 54 games last season on her way to Big Ten Freshman of the Year honors.
The USA Softball's Player of the Year Top 50 watch lister led the Huskies last season in batting average (.358), hits (58), home runs (21), RBI (55) and slugging percentage (.815).
Glab, a junior catcher from Dubuque, Iowa, started in all 54 UW games last season, finishing her sophomore campaign on the Big Ten All-Defensive Team and NFCA All-Mountain Region Third Team.
In 2025, Glab posted a .304 average with 49 hits, 12 doubles, 15 home runs, 41 RBI and a .991 fielding percentage.
Reimer, a sophomore pitcher from Langley, B.C., enters her second Husky season with collegiate and national experience under her belt. As a key member of Team Canada in the summer of 2025, Reimer helped her national team to beat team Team Japan at the World Games.
Reimer made 17 starts in 33 appearances as a freshman in 2025, earning a spot on the NFCA All-Mountain Region Third Team. She held a 3.26 ERA with 125 strikeouts, leading the team with 16 wins on the season.
DeBoer and Glab were also named top overall and position players by D1Softball and Softball America earlier this month.
The 2026 season kicks off for the Huskies next week, as Washington makes a trip to San Antonio to take on Nebraska, Texas and UTSA.
