Huskies Dominate Ball In 2-0 Win

BERKELEY, Calif. – The Washington Huskies recorded their third shutout of the year, taking down the California Golden Bears 2-0. Washington allowed only three shots all game and fired an astounding 23 of their own in a dominant performance.
Lucas Meek was a part of both goals for Washington, drawing a penalty and scoring Washington's second goal. Dylan Teves had the penalty-kick goal for Washington that put the Huskies up for good.
Cal's first shot came in the 17th minute. The Golden Bears would not record another shot until the 68th minute, when Sam Fowler made the save on Cal's first and only shot on goal.
Teves and Meek each had more shots individually than Cal, with seven different Huskies recording multiple shots. 13 of Washington's 16 field players that saw action recorded a shot in the game.
