
Five Former Huskies Make Major League Rosters

Five former Husky Baseball players were named to opening day, 30-man Major League rosters on Thursday. Pitchers Jeff Brigham, Adam Cimber, Andrew Kittredge and Austin Voth and third baseman/first baseman/designated hitter Jake Lamb will all open 2020 in the Big Leagues.
Voth won a heated battle and was named the fifth starter for the defending World Series champion Washington Nationals. Brigham (Miami Marlins), Cimber (Cleveland Indians) and Kittredge (Tampa Bay Rays) will all come out of the bullpen for their respective clubs.
Lamb, who was an All-Star in 2017, enters his seventh season in the Majors with the Arizona Diamondbacks.
Major League baseball started with two games on Thursday and will get it's 60-game schedule fully started on Friday.
