SEATTLE - The Washington Huskies will host Super Regionals for the third consecutive year this weekend, welcoming the Kentucky Wildcats to Seattle with a trip to the Women's College World Series on the line. This will be the second time this year that Washington has faced Kentucky after the two played in the Mary Nutter Classic in February. Washington won that game 4-2. That was just the third time in program history that Washington has played Kentucky.

NO-NO: AUSTRALIAN FOR GOOD | |
Gabbie Plain finished Regionals with the sixth postseason no-hitter in Washington history. Plain joins Taran Alvelo (5/19/17), Bryana Walker (5/19/13), Danielle Lawrie (5/31/07), and Jennifer Spediacci (5/19/00 and 5/16/98) as the only Huskies to throw postseason no-hitters. That also gives Plain three no-hitters this year and four in her career. Eve Gaw, Spediacci, and Lawrie are the only other Huskies to throw four individual no-hitters in their careers. Lawrie (2010) and Spediacci (1998) are the only other Huskies to throw three no-hitters in a single season. |

GOING YARD | |
Morganne Flores hit three home runs in Regionals, bringing her postseason career total to seven homers in her 18 postseason games. Flores is the first Husky ever with multiple postseason games of two or more home runs after also doing so in 2017 against Utah. The junior now has 42 homers in her career and 21 this season. She is now tied with Sarah Hyatt for fifth in UW history in home runs. Her 21 homers this year are the fourth-most in a single season by a Husky, with Kristen Rivera's 25 in 2003 leading that list. |

K KWEEN | |
Taran Alvelo reached 860 career strikeouts during Regionals with another stellar performance. The senior needs ten more strikeouts to reach 275 this season, which would be the seventh such season in Washington history. Every other pitcher to reach 275 strikeouts (Danielle Lawrie 2006-07, 2009-10, Ashley Boek 2004, Jennifer Spediacci 2000) threw at least 241 innings: Alvelo is currently at 181.1 innings. |

SIS SCORES | |
Sis Bates scored multiple runs in every game of Regionals, adding to her career-best run total with 58 this year. Bates needs two runs for the 12th 60+ run season in Washington history. One more hit would also give Bates her second 70-hit season. She would be the fourth player in the Pac-12 with 60 runs this year and the seventh with 70 hits. |
