SEATTLE – A career game from Amirah Milloy helped the #4 Washington Huskies clinch game one of their three game series against Arizona State, winning 8-4. Milloy drove in five runs, hitting a double and home run in her two at-bats. The Huskies won their tenth consecutive Pac-12 game, moving to 33-6 overall this season.

Milloy was just one part of an impressive showing from Washington's lower half of the lineup. The six through nine spots in the lineup went a combined 6-for-9, scoring six runs and driving in seven. Taryn Atlee had a 2-for-3 day, while Madison Huskey homered and scored twice.

Gabbie Plain worked six innings for the Huskies, retiring the first eight batters she faced and thrice recording 1-2-3 innings. She struck out 11 batters before ceding to Taran Alvelo in the seventh, who struck out two to finish the win.

		SCORING
Second Inning: Washington's first three batters reached base, with Atlee's bouncing single up the middle giving the Huskies a 1-0 lead. Milloy's bases-loaded double brought in two more runs, with an RBI groundout by Bates ending the scoring. Fourth Inning: Huskey homered on the first pitch she saw to extend the lead. Fifth Inning: Arizona State homered to start the inning, making it 5-1. Sixth Inning: A bases-loaded double by Arizona State cut the lead to 5-4. Sixth Inning: Milloy put three insurance runs on the board, launching a home run deep into the right-center seats.

		NOTES
Milloy (2x2, 2B, HR, 5 RBI) set a career high in RBI. Ten of Milloy's last 11 hits have gone for extra bases, including her last six in a row. Atlee (2x3, 2 R, RBI) has three multi-hit games in her last four. Plain (6.0 IP, 4 H, 1 ER, 11 K) had her scoreless streak end after 22 innings. She allowed only ten baserunners in that time. Plain and Alvelo (1.0 IP, 2 K) are the first duo of teammates in the nation with 150 strikeouts each.
