SEATTLE – The #4 Washington Huskies clinched another Pac-12 series, beating the #23 Arizona State Sun Devils 9-2. The Huskies were hitting all day, with 15 hits from ten different batters. Morganne Flores and Sami Reynolds each homered in the game, helping Washington move to 34-6 on the season and 11-3 in conference.

Sis Bates drove in three runs in the game, a total matched by Reynolds. They were two of Washington's four hitters with multiple hits, alongside Livy Schiele and SilentRain Espinoza. Nawai Kaupe and Ari Quiñones each came off the bench with pinch-hit singles.

Taran Alvelo earned the complete-game win, striking out 12 and allowing only three hits. She retired the last five batters she faced and did not allow a hit after Arizona State's fourth-inning homer, retiring 11 of 12 batters the end the game.

		SCORING
First Inning: Despite falling behind 0-2, Schiele got the job done with a two-out RBI single past the diving second baseman for the game's first run. Third Inning: Flores ripped a liner well over the fence that was initially ruled foul, only for the crew to convene and rule it a fair ball and home run. Fourth Inning: Arizona State tied the game with a two-run homer. Fourth Inning: Bates put the Huskies back in the lead with a triple in the rightfield gap to drive in two. Reynolds launched a high homer into the rightfield seats soon thereafter to make it 7-2. Fifth Inning: With the bases loaded, Bates ripped a ball hard off the first baseman for an infield RBI single, making it 8-2. Sixth Inning: Three singles in a row to start the inning by Reynolds, Kaupe, and Schiele put another run on the board.

		NOTES
Alvelo (7.0 IP, 2 R, 12 K) had not given up multiple earned runs in seven straight appearances before today. Flores (1x2, 3 R, HR) has matched her career high with 13 homers this season. Flores moved in the top ten in UW history with her 34 homer. She is tied with Danielle Lawrie, Dena Tyson, and Kathy Fiske. Over her last ten Pac-12 games, Bates (2x3, R, 3B, 3 RBI) is hitting .581. Espinoza (2x3, R) has scored a run in three consecutive games. Schiele (2x4, 2 RBI) has driven in a run on each of her last three at-bats. Since the beginning of Pac-12 play, Washington has hit 23 homers.
