SEATTLE – The #4 Washington Huskies extended their winning streak to 13 games, shutting out the #23 Arizona State Sun Devils 6-0 to finish another Pac-12 sweep. The power bats of Morganne Flores and Madison Huskey contributed three homers between them, including Flores' third multi-homer game of the year.

In addition to two-hit games by that pair, Sis Bates also recorded two hits, scoring a run and driving in one. Emma Helm reached base twice for UW, with a hit and a walk.

Leadoff ons were the name of the game for Washington, which put the leadoff batter on base in four of the six innings. Washington had at least one baserunner in every inning.

Gabbie Plain earned her 15^th career shutout, giving up just three hits in the complete game. Plain struck out 11 and let only one Sun Devil reach third base all game. Arizona State managed only one hit after the second inning, coming on a leadoff single in the sixth.

		SCORING
First Inning: Flores hit her eighth home run in Pac-12 play, sending it deep to left-center onto the service road. Second Inning: The first three batters of the game reached safely for the Huskies, culminating in an RBI single by Huskey for the 2-0 lead. Third Inning: For the second time this weekend, Huskey went yard, sending a hard, low line drive over the left-center wall. Sixth Inning: After a Bates single brought one run in, Flores' second homer cleared the bases and made it 6-0.

		NOTES
Flores (2x3, 2 HR, 3 RBI) made it two straight years UW has had a player hit 15+ homers after Julia DePonte hit 15 last season. Since starting 0-for-7 in Pac-12 play, Flores is hitting .410 with 18 runs, 11 homers, and 20 RBI. Bates (2x4, R, RBI) has hits in nine of her last ten games, hitting .545 in that time. In her last ten home games, Reynolds (1x4, 2B) has hit .366. Plain (7.0 IP, 3 H, 0 R, 11 K) recorded her tenth career double-digit strikeout game. Plain is the fourth pitcher in the Pac-12 and second Husky to record 15 wins this season. All four of Huskey's (2x2, 2 R, HR, 2 RBI) homers have come since the beginning of Pac-12 play.

Washington will play five games next week, beginning with a Wednesday matchup with BYU in Provo, Utah. The Huskies will then play a three-game series against Utah beginning April 18, then finish the road trip with an April 22 game against Utah Valley.
