SEATTLE – The #6 Washington Huskies beat the Idaho State Bengals 6-0 Saturday night, earning their second win of the day. Sis Bates, Morganne Flores, and Noelle Hee all drew multiple walks as Washington earned ten free passes as a team.

Flores' two-run home run in the third inning gave Washington the lead. Pat Moore threw three scoreless innings in the circle to start things before Taran Alvelo took over. The senior did not allow a hit in her four innings, starting her appearance with nine straight retired.

Washington batted around in the third, scoring four runs to open up the game. Bates would score the first of her two runs in the game in that inning. In addition to Flores' home run, Ari Quiñones and Kaija Gibson would drive in runs in that inning.

		SCORING
Third Inning: Flores' sent a hard line drive far and well over the leftfield wall for a 2-0 lead. An HBP and a walk with the bases loaded would bring two more runs in. Fourth Inning: Reynolds drove in a fifth run with a groundout after walks to Flores and Hee. Sixth Inning: Atlee's bouncing-ball single into centerfield made it 6-0.

		NOTES
Alvelo (4.0 IP, 1 BB, 8 K) recorded her 700^th strikeout. She is the fifth active pitcher in Division I to reach 700 and the sixth Husky ever. Today's game ended a four-game streak of Husky starters striking out double-digit batters. The home run by Flores (1x2, 2 R, HR, 2 RBI, 2 BB) was the 25^th of her career. She is the 19^th Husky to hit 25+ in their career. Flores has hit .400 with six RBI over her last eight games.

The Husky Classic wraps up tomorrow as Washington plays Idaho State at 12:45 PM and Seattle U at 2:45 PM.
