After Record Home Meet, Washington Heads To Oklahoma
February 12, 2019 | Gymnastics
SEATTLE - The Washington GymDawgs will hit the road again this weekend, heading to the quad meet Perfect 10 Challenge to compete against #1 Oklahoma, #19 Arizona State, and George Washington. This is the second week in a row that Washington has competed against a top-five opponent, coming on the heels of last week's attendance record-shattering home meet against #3 UCLA. Washington saw over 7,000 fans come out to that meet.
This is the first quad meet of the year for the GymDawgs. Last season, Washington competed in two quad meets, facing off against multiple top-five opponents in each of those meets. Washington will also have a quad meet at UC Davis in the regular season finale. The GymDawgs have two tri meets left on the schedule as well, at Boise State and at home on March 8 against Sacramento State and Iowa.
