More UW Wins Highlights Final Day of Husky Invite

SEATTLE --- Washington closed out the Husky Invitational with a solid afternoon, winning a pair of doubles matches and all seven singles matches on Sunday afternoon at the Nordstrom Tennis Center.
The Huskies were solid in singles play, with each Washington player recording a straight-sets victory except for Stevie Gould, who battled through a tough three-set match to win 7-5, 4-6, 7-5. In doubles play, Jack Davis and Ewen Lumsden opened the day with an 8-2 victory with Gould and Brandon Wong picking up an 8-3 win.
Washington wrapped up its fall schedule with the Husky Invite and returns to action on January 11, hosting a pair of matches with Seattle University.
