Green's NCAA Waiver Granted, Eligible to Play Immediately

SEATTLE -University of Washington sophomore Quade Green has been granted a waiver by the NCAA and is eligible to compete for the Dawgs immediately. The transfer from Kentucky joined the Huskies in January of last season and has been sitting due to NCAA transfer rules.
"We're very excited to have Quade eligible immediately and we'd like to thank the NCAA, the University of Kentucky and the compliance staffs both here at Washington and at Kentucky," said head coach Mike Hopkins. "We can't thank them enough for their cooperation and we are very happy for Quade."
Washington opens the 2019-20 season in Alaska at the Armed Forces Classic facing Baylor at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 8.
