The Huskies solid day was led by sophomore Henry Lee, the lone UW golfer to finish below par on the afternoon. Lee spent much of the round at 1-over par before birdies on 14 and 18 gave him a 70 for the day. He is even-par 142 (72-70) for the tournament and currently sits in a tie for 27th in medalist play.
Β
Freshman Noah Woolsey remained in the top 20 with a 2-over 73 and is tied for 18th at 1-under 141 (68-73). Woolsey was even par through the first eight holes, but carded a double bogey on his ninth hole. After a bogey on 15, he closed out the round with a birdie on 18 to finish at 2-over.
