• Finished third of 100 golfers at William H. Tucker, shooting a 4-under-par 212 including a final round 68
• Placed tied for fifth among 75 golfers with a season-low 9-under 204; posted a tournament-low 66 in the second round and had a 68 in the opening round
• Posted a 3-under 213 to finish tied for 8th of 90 golfers and was team's top finisher at The Hayt

• Opened the season with a 3-over-par 145 in a weather-shortened Inverness Intercollegiate

Sophomore (2016-17)

• Led the team with a 71.57 scoring average
• All-Pac-12 second team selection
• Finished tied for 20th in NCAA Sammamish Regional
• Recorded six rounds in the 60s
• Led the team with a career-best tie for fourth place finish in the Pac-12 Championships
• Tied for second in Arizona Intercollegiate, shooting a three-round total of 3-under 210
• Had six top-20, two top-10 and one top-5 finish on the season
• Carded a season-low score of 65 in final round of Arizona Intercollegiate (par 71)
• Team’s best finisher in John Burns Intercollegiate, shooting two rounds below par and tying for 13th
• Tied for 12th and was team’s best finisher at ASU Thunderbird Invitational
• Finished ninth at the 2016 Asia-Pacific Amateur Championship at 1-over 289

Freshman (2015-16)

• 2016 Pac-12 All-Freshman Team Selection
• Played in 11 events as a true freshman with his best showing coming as a tie for fourth at the RedHawk Invitational at Chambers Bay
• Carded the Huskies best finish at the NCAA Franklin Regional, placing fifth after finishing 10-under for the week and six shots back of the individual champion
• Posted three top-10 finishes on the season after finishing tied for ninth at the Shoal Creek Invitational to open the year
• Was the Huskies first or second place finisher in six of 11 events and only finished outside the top 25 twice
• Finished 14th at the 2016 Pac-12 Championships
• Carded eight rounds under par and five in the 60s
• Advanced to the round of 16 at the 121st Amateur Championship in June
• Won the 2016 115th Pacific Northwest Men's Amateur Championship in July ... Yuan defeated Andrew Whalen 5 & 3 following 33 holes to take home the Macan Cup
• Tied for 10th at the 2016 Pacific Coast Amateur with a 4-over 292

Junior Golf and Personal

• The No. 13 rated recruit by the American Junior Golf Association Polo Boys Ranking of the Class of 2015.
• Ranked No. 22 by the Golfweek Sagarin and No. 25 by the Junior Golf Scoreboard Rankings of the Class of 2015.
• Qualified for the U.S. Open Sectionals by winning an event at Timacuan Golf and Country Club in Florida at age 15.
• Enters Washington with a World Amateur Golf Ranking of No. 72 in the world.
• Yuan was named honorable mention for 2014 AJGA Rolex All-America Team and in 2015.
• Finished as the runner-up in two big events, the TaylorMade-adidas Golf Junior at Innisbrook and the AJGA Puerto Rico Junior Open.
• Won the Scott Robertson Memorial Golf Tournament back in 2013, finishing at 7-under to prevail by three shots.
• Made the cut and finished 55th at the European PGA Tour event in China, the Shenzhen International.
• Originally from China, but currently attended the Eagles Dream Academy and Lake Mary Prep in Orlando, Fla.
