Cassidy Lucht's first year with the Huskies saw her grow into an important midfield role. The freshman saw action in six Pac-12 matches, including playing 47 minutes at Arizona State. She would help the Huskies earn a win in each of her first two appearances, against Cal State Fullerton and Portland, and ended the year playing just under 200 minutes in her nine total games.

In the quarterfinals of Surf Thanksgiving, we were playing LA Galaxy, a top-ten team in the nation, and we were tied with a minute to go. I scored a header from the PK spot and it was super cool.
