Anna Miller joined Washington this last season after a stellar career at Concordia, where she was named an All-American. A native of Issaquah, Wash., Miller played her high school soccer with fellow Huskies Claudia Longo and Kaylene Pang. She won a championship while at Issaquah and led the team to an undefeated season as a junior. This year with Washington, Miller served as the Huskies' backup keeper.
What is your favorite soccer memory?
Winning the state championship my senior year at Issaquah.
What's the coolest place you have traveled?
Oahu, Hawai'i.
What is something you want to learn?
How to walk on my hands.
What's a talent you have people do not know about?
I can play the recorder with my nose.
What is your favorite TV show?
Black Mirror.
What is your favorite part of campus?
The views. Anywhere you go there is always something beautiful to look at.
What are some of your hobbies?
I like to hike and play guitar and cook.
Where do you see yourself in five years?
Traveling the world.
Why did you choose to come to Washington?
I love Seattle and the gender studies classes at UW, plus the all-female coaching staff.
What is the best save you've ever made?
I stopped a penalty kick in the state semi-final game in 2015.
