SEATTLE - The Husky Baseball team concludes a productive fall baseball season with the Purple and Gold World Series, starting Saturday at Husky Ballpark. The best-of-three game series will be played Saturday (2:00 p.m.), Monday (3:30 p.m.) and Tuesday (3:30 p.m.), depending on weather, and is free for fans interested in attending the games.
For fans, the games provide a first glimpse of the 2019 Diamond Dawgs, who are fresh off an appearance in the 2018 College World Series. The Huskies return six everyday players from last year's squad, Sunday starter Jordan Jones, plus many key cogs from the bench and bullpen. In addition, 10 newcomers will be playing in their first Purple and Gold World Series.
