Huskies Home For Two Matches This Weekend

SEATTLE – Washington men's tennis host two home matches this weekend, the first against Pepperdine on Friday and the second against Princeton on Saturday.
The Huskies (2-1) are coming off of a strong singles performance against Pacific on Saturday at home. Despite dropping the doubles point, the Dawgs earned all six singles points to win with a team score of 6-1. Piers Foley came back down a set to win in three, including a second-set tiebreaker win to force a third set.
Pepperdine is 1-2 coming into Friday's match. After dropping their first two dual matches, the Waves picked up their first win against South Alabama. Pepperdine has one singles player ranked, No. 100 Dennis Uspensky.
Princeton is 2-0 on the year after beating Michigan State and Wagner. The Tigers also have one ranked in singles, No. 114 Ryan Seggerman.
Both matches will be held at the Nordstrom Tennis Center. Washington will take on Pepperdine Friday at 4 p.m. PT, and Princeton on Saturday at 3 p.m. PT. The link for live streaming and scoring can be found on the men's tennis schedule page.
