UW (13-4, 3-1) vs. Stanford (9-8, 3-1)
UW continues its homestand as Stanford comes to Alaska Airlines Arena on Saturday, Jan. 13 at 5 p.m. The game will be televised on the Pac-12 Networks with Guy Haberman and Mike Montgomery on the call. Additionally, fans can tune into KOMO 1000AM and 97.7 FM to hear the official UW radio broadcast from Tony Castricone and Jason Hamilton. Stanford has the series record at 75-71, but has not played at Alaska Airlines Arena since Feb. 20, 2016 in a UW 64-53 victory. Washington is 49-20 against the Cardinal when playing at home.
The Coach
Head Coach Mike Hopkins is in his first year at Washington, and first as a head coach becoming the 19th head coach in UW history. After spending 22 years as an assistant at Syracuse, Hopkins oversaw teams that reached the NCAA Tournament 16 times including the 2003 National Championship, four Final Fours, five Elite Eights and 10 Sweet 16s along with four NIT berths. Syracuse never dipped below a 55.0 percent record while Hopkins was on staff.

• Junior Matisse Thybulle and junior David Crisp are both in the top 10 in the UW career record books as Thybulle has 158 career steals (5th all-time) and Crisp has 158 career 3's made (6th all-time)

• Washington has had four players score in double figures in 10 of its 17 games
• After WSU hit four 3's in the first five minutes on Saturday, the Huskies held the Cougs to just three more from long distance as WSU finished 7-of-27 after entering the game leading the nation at 12.1 made from 3 per game
• Junior Matisse Thybulle is the only active player in NCAA Division 1 to have over 150 steals and 75 blocks in their career ... his 158 steals rank tied for 18th amongst the NCAA active career leaders in that category ... additionally he is the only player in Husky history to have 150+ career steals (158) and 75+ career blocks (81)
• Washington has had fewer turnovers than its opponents in 11 of its 17 games and are 9-2 in those outings
• Junior Noah Dickerson is one of two Pac-12 players averaging at least 14.9 points and 7.6 rebounds while also shooting at least 60 percent from the field (60.3FG%), joining Arizona's Deandre Ayton (20.0 ppg/11.5 rpg/63.0FG%)
• Starting with the Kansas game, sophomore Sam Timmins has been 22-of-32 from the field, shooting at a 68.8 percent clip with 10 blocks. Fourteen of his 22 made FGs (63.6 percent) in that span have come from dunks.
• UW is the only team in the NCAA to record 16 steals and 15 blocks in the same game this season after doing so against BCU .. since the 2011-12 season only one other school has recorded those numbers in a single game ... Syracuse (12/28/2011 - 17 steals, 15 blocks - v. Seton Hall)
