UW hits the road to face Colorado this Thursday, Feb. 9 at 7 p.m. PT at the Coors Events Center. The game will be nationally televised by Fox Sports 1 with Aaron Goldsmith and Casey Jacobsen on the call. Additionally, fans can tune into KOMO 1000AM/97.7FM to hear Bob Rondeau and Jason Hamilton call the action. Washington leads the all time series 12-10 and won the first meeting this season 85-83 in overtime in Seattle. The teams have traded wins over the last seven outings dating back to Jan. 12, 2014. Β
The Coach
Head Coach Lorenzo Romar, in his 15th year at Washington, has amassed a 298-188 (.613) during his time in Seattle and an overall mark of 391-276 (.586) in 21 seasons. Romar, the longest tenured coach in the Pac-12, has taken the Huskies to the NCAA tournament six times including three Sweet 16 appearances.
