
UW Hosts Final Home Game Saturday at 5 p.m. vs. No. 5 Arizona

UW (9-17, 2-12) vs. #5 Arizona (24-3, 13-1)
UW hosts its final home game of the regular season on Saturday, Feb. 18, as it welcomes No. 5 Arizona at 5 p.m.The game will be nationally televised on ESPN2 with Dave Pasch and Bill Walton on the call. Additionally, fans can tune into KOMO 1000AM/97.7FM to hear Bob Rondeau and Jason Hamilton call the action. Arizona leads the all-time series 51-28. The Wildcats won the first meeting this season 66-77 on Jan. 29 in Tucson. When hosting a top-five team at Hec Ed, UW is 11-30 and have a 3-7 record when playing the No. 5 team at home.
The Coach
Head Coach Lorenzo Romar, in his 15th year at Washington, has amassed a 298-191 (.610) during his time in Seattle and an overall mark of 391-279 (.583) in 21 seasons. Romar, the longest tenured coach in the Pac-12, has taken the Huskies to the NCAA tournament six times including three Sweet 16 appearances.
