UW (7-2) vs. No. 12 Gonzaga (7-2)
UW returns home to start a four-game homestand beginning with No. 12 Gonzaga on Sunday, Dec. 10 at 5 p.m. inside Alaska Airlines Arena. The game will be televised on the Pac-12 Networks with Guy Haberman, Don MacLean and Lewis Johnson on the call. Additionally fans can tune into KOMO 1000AM and 97.7 FM to hear the official UW radio broadcast from Tony Castricone and Jason Hamilton. This will be the 46th meeting between the two squads and the first in Hec Ed since a 99-95 win on Dec. 4, 2005.
The Coach
Head Coach Mike Hopkins is starting his first year at Washington, and first as a head coach becoming the 19th head coach in UW history. After spending 22 years as an assistant at Syracuse, Hopkins oversaw teams that reached the NCAA Tournament 16 times including the 2003 National Championship, four Final Fours, five Elite Eights and 10 Sweet 16s along with four NIT berths. Syracuse never dipped below a 55.0 percent record while Hopkins was on staff.

• Junior Noah Dickerson recorded his third double double of the season at Kansas with 14 rebounds and 13 points ... he now has nine for his career which have all come over his last 31 games
• Thybulle recorded 5 blocks and 3 steals against Omaha becoming the first player to have those numbers in a game since Matthew Bryan Amaning recorded 7 blocks and 4 steals on Feb. 19, 2011 at Arizona.
• The Huskies had four players pull down six boards for the second time this season and the second time in the last three games (UC Davis & Omaha).
• Over the last three games, freshman Hameir Wright has averaged 8.3 points and 5.3 rebounds while hitting all six career 3-pointers, compared to his first six games where he averaged 0.3 ppg and 1.0 rpg
• David Crisp's season-high 24 points against Omaha were his most since his career-high 31 at Utah (Feb. 11, 2017) ... he now is one of three players this season with a 20+ scoring effort joining Dickerson and Nowell and one of five current players with a 20+ scoring game in their career
• UW is shooting 80.0 percent from the FT line in final five minutes of its nine games and that goes up to 83.9 percent in the final two minutes ... UW has not been that efficient from the FT line during those two spans since at least 2002-03 (stats not kept as well before that)
• Additionally, Jaylen Nowell is shooting 92.3 percent during the final 2 minutes of each game (12-13) while David Crisp is 9-of-12 in that span (75.0)
