UW (5-2) vs. Omaha (1-7)
UW continues its four game homestand as it hosts Omaha on Sunday, Dec. 3 at 4 p.m. at Alaska Airlines Arena. The game will be televised on the Pac-12 Networks with Greg Heister and Kevin O'Neill on the call. Additionally fans can tune into KOMO 1000AM and 97.7 FM to hear the official UW radio broadcast from Tony Castricone and Jason Hamilton. This is the first meeting between the two programs.
The Coach
Head Coach Mike Hopkins is starting his first year at Washington, and first as a head coach becoming the 19th head coach in UW history. After spending 22 years as an assistant at Syracuse, Hopkins oversaw teams that reached the NCAA Tournament 16 times including the 2003 National Championship, four Final Fours, five Elite Eights and 10 Sweet 16s along with four NIT berths. Syracuse never dipped below a 55.0 percent record while Hopkins was on staff.

• Junior Matisse Thybulle currently ranks third in the NCAA in steals, averaging 3.6 per game ... his 129 career steals rank eighth in UW history, passing Isaiah Thomas (122, 2009-11) ... the UW school record is 195 (Jamie Booker, 1994-97 over 109 games) ... he also leads the Pac-12 by 1.2 spg
• UW is stepping it up in the second half this season shooting 50.0 percent from the field compared to 41.6 percent in the first half ... additionally UW is at 38.0 percent from long distance in the 2nd half (26.9 percent in the first) and are lowering their turnovers to 6.4 from 8.3
• The Dawgs have four players averaging double-figures in Jaylen Nowell (18.4), Noah Dickerson (16.4), Matisse Thybulle (11.7) and David Crisp (11.1).
• Matisse Thybulle's minutes have seen an increase this season, averaging 31.0 per game compared to 29.8 as a sophomore and 24.1 as a freshman.
