UW (4-2) vs. Kennesaw State (1-5)
UW continues its three home games in five days on Tuesday as it hosts Kennesaw State at 6 p.m. on Nov. 28 at Alaska Airlines Arena. The game will be televised on the Pac-12 Networks with Ted Robinson and P.J. Carlisimo on the call. Additionally fans can tune into KOMO 1000AM and 97.7 FM to hear the official UW radio broadcast from Tony Castricone and Jason Hamilton. This is the first meeting between the two programs.

The Coach
Head Coach Mike Hopkins is starting his first year at Washington, and first as a head coach becoming the 19th head coach in UW history. After spending 22 years as an assistant at Syracuse, Hopkins oversaw teams that reached the NCAA Tournament 16 times including the 2003 National Championship, four Final Fours, five Elite Eights and 10 Sweet 16s along with four NIT berths. Syracuse never dipped below a 55.0 percent record while Hopkins was on staff.

• UW is shooting 80 percent from the FT line in final five minutes of its six games and that goes up to 86.2 percent in the final two minutes ... UW has not been that efficient from the FT line during those two spans since at least 2002-03 (stats not kept as well before that)
• Additionally, Jaylen Nowell is shooting 92.3 percent during the final 2 minutes of each game (12-13) while David Crisp is 8-of-10 in that span
• UW has had 10 or more steals in four of its six games ... last season Washington recorded just three total games of 10 or more steals in 31 outings ... the last season UW had five games with 10 or more steals was 2015-16 (5) and prior to that it was 2009-10 (9).
• Junior Noah Dickerson is currently leading the team in FG percentage at 63.0 (29-46) ... as a sophomore Dickerson shot 54.7 percent (93-199) and as a freshman he shot 46.7 (146-267)
• Washington leads the league in steals at 9.2 per game, which also ranks tied for 30th nationally
• UW connected on its final 19 FTs against Seattle U ... the Huskies are shooting 70.7 percent from the charity stripe and are averaging 30.7 attempts per game
• Freshman Jaylen Nowell recorded his fourth career 20+ point effort with 21 against UC Davis - he ranks fifth in the Pac-12 with his 20.5 ppg average and is the fourth leading freshman scorer in the NCAA
• Nowell has reached double-digit scoring in all six games ... in the last 10 years, he's one of eight players to start the season with at least six-straight double-digit scoring efforts (Andrew Andrews - 15, 2015-16; Nigel Williams -Goss - 8, 2014-15; C.J. Wilcox - 18, 2013-14, C.J. Wilcox - 12, 2012-13; Terrence Ross - 9, 2011-12; Justin Holiday - 8, 2010-11; Isaiah Thomas - 9, 2009-10; Jon Brockman - 31, 2007-08).
• Junior Matisse Thybulle currently ranks second in the NCAA in steals, averaging 3.8 per game ... his 127 career steals rank tied for eighth in UW history, passing Isaiah Thomas (122, 2009-11) ... the UW school record is 195 (Jamie Booker, 1994-97 over 109 games) ... he also leads the Pac-12 by 1.4 spg
• UW is stepping it up in the second half this season shooting 49.7 percent from the field compared to 40.3 percent in the first half ... additionally UW is at 38.1 percent from long distance in the 2nd half (24.1 percent in the first) and are lowering their turnovers to 5.3 from 8.8
• The Dawgs have four players averaging double-figures in Jaylen Nowell (20.5), Noah Dickerson (15.2), Matisse Thybulle (12.2) and David Crisp (12.3).
• Matisse Thybulle's minutes have seen an increase this season, averaging 33.8 per game compared to 29.8 as a sophomore and 24.1 as a freshman.
• Junior Matisse Thybulle has started in 71-straight games, which is the longest streak since Quincy Pondexter, who started 73-straight games from 2007-08 to 2009-10.
