
Dawgs Start First of Three Games in Five Days on Friday at Noon

UW (2-2) vs. Seattle U
UW starts the first of three home games in five days on Friday as it hosts cross-town foe Seattle U at Noon on Nov. 24 at Alaska Airlines Arena. The game will be televised on the Pac-12 Networks with Mark Rogondino and Steve Lavin on the call. Additionally fans can tune into KOMO 1000AM and 97.7 FM to hear the official UW radio broadcast from Tony Castricone and Jason Hamilton. The Huskies own a 28-4 record over Seattle U and have won 12-straight dating back to 1978. Additionally, Washington has a 15-1 record at home when facing the Redhawks.
The Coach
Head Coach Mike Hopkins is starting his first year at Washington, and first as a head coach becoming the 19th head coach in UW history. After spending 22 years as an assistant at Syracuse, Hopkins oversaw teams that reached the NCAA Tournament 16 times including the 2003 National Championship, four Final Fours, five Elite Eights and 10 Sweet 16s along with four NIT berths. Syracuse never dipped below a 55.0 percent record while Hopkins was on staff.
