Alumni Weekend Review
October 08, 2017 | Baseball
SEATTLE -- Washington Baseball alums came from near and far this weekend to play golf, enjoy Husky Football at the greatest setting in college and work up a sweat on the diamond at sunny Husky Ballpark. It was a full weekend, but a fun one, highlighted by an exciting Alumni Game.
The weekend festivities kicked off on Friday with golf at Redmond Ridge. Saturday was a chance for the alumni to get together for tailgating before enjoying the Huskies' dominant performance against Cal at Husky Stadium.
The weekend culminated with the always fun Alumni Game, which wasn't decided until the final at bat. Jim Na doubled home Pierce Rankin to end the game and make a winner out of Jeff Brown on the hill. On a side note, 2015 grad, Will Sparks, showed off his power by winning the Home Run Derby.
Thank you alumni for your continued support and we look forward to seeing you this season at Husky Ballpark to cheer on the Diamond Dawgs.
