
Washington 10th After Second Round of Warrior Invitational

PRINCEVILLE, Hawaii --- Noah Woolsey and Frank Garber each carded 3-under 69s to lead Washington to a 5-under 283, good enough for 10th place overall after the second round of the Warrior Princeville Makai Invitational on Monday.
The Huskies dropped five strokes overall, but low scores abounded and they moved down a few spots on the overall leaderboard to 10th at 13-under 563 (280-283).
Woolsey continued his hot play, posting a 3-under 69 thanks to six birdies. He sits in 10th place in medalist play at 9-under 135 (66-69).
Garber also recorded a 3-under 69, recording three-striaght birdies and closing out the round with two birdies on his final four holes. Garber is tied for 37th overall at 3-under 141 (72-69).
Henry Lee remained in the top 15 after carding a 1-under 71. Lee sat at 1-over through the first 13 holes before carding an eagle on his 14th hole--the par-5 18th--to help him get back in the red. Overall he is tied for 15th at 6-under 138 (67-71).
Jan Schneider dropped two strokes off his first-round score, carding a 2-over 74 and ends the day at 6-over 150 (76-74). Shamu Bodhidatta is at 9-over 153 (75-78).
UW newcomer William Mansfield posted a 3-over 75, dropping three strokes off his first collegiate round yesterday and is at 9-over 153 (78-75) while playing as an individual. Also playing as an individual was Jordan Lu, who was unable to compete today and had to withdraw.
Washington closes out the trip to Hawaii and the fall portion of its schedule on Tuesday, opening the final round at 8:00 a.m. The Huskies are paired Ole Miss, Utah Valley and Cal State Fullerton for the final 18 holes.
