LAKE FOREST, Ill. – Three Dawgs are inside the Top 20 as Washington men's golf is tied for third after 36 holes at the Windon Memorial Classic at Onwentsia Club.

Washington finished the first 18 holes at 6-over but fired the low team score of the tournament in the second round (275, -5) to move up the leaderboard. The Huskies were able to take advantage of the gettable Par 5 third hole, combining for three eagles and six birdies on the day with one par.

Kansas is leading the team race at 4-under, followed by Michigan State (E) and Notre Dame – who is tied with UW at 1-over – round out the top three.

Grady Millar is leading the charge with rounds of 71-67 to sit in a tie for seventh going into the final day. The 67 (-3) marks his collegiate low round surpassing his previous best of 68 which he had in the first round of The Clerico last season.

Finn Koelle and Hamish Farquharson are tied for 16th at even par. They both fired first round 72s and followed it up with a 68 in the second round. Farquharson closed out the day with three birdies over his final four holes.

Brock Maulding matched Millar with a first round 71 (+1) and posted a second round 72 (+2) to be tied for 37th. Emil Herstad is in a tie for 67th following rounds of 75-73.

Washington will be paired with players from Charlotte and Cal Poly in the final round. The first group will be off hole No. 1 at 6:45 a.m. PT.
