ITA Northwest Regionals Await UW This Weekend

SEATTLE – Washington men's tennis is heading to Stockton, California this weekend to participate in the ITA Northwest Regionals from Oct. 19-23 at the Eve Zimmerman Tennis Center.
The tournament will feature 16 teams, including host-school Pacific and Pac-12 opponents Stanford, California and Oregon. The doubles round will feature a round of 64 and a consolation bracket. In singles, there will be 128 in the main draw.
In singles, seven Huskies will be making the trip: Kawika Lam, Jack Davis, Enzo Sommer, Piers Foley, Sebastian Hawken, Alexis Alvarez and Amit Batta. The doubles pairings are Sommer and Lam, Batta and Davis, and Alvarez and Foley.
This is the second fall tournament for the Huskies. At the UCSB Classic in early October, Enzo Sommer and Kawika Lam teamed up to win the doubles championship in their flight.
Some of the top men's players across the country will be participating in the ITA Regional Championships across the country. There are 12 regional sites across the country.
