
Dawgs Set to Host USC Wednesday at 8 p.m.

UW (9-12, 2-7) vs. USC (18-4, 5-4)
UW returns to Alaska Airlines Arena to host USC on Wednesday, Feb. 1 at 8 p.m. The game will be televised by ESPNU with Roy Philpott and Brad Daugherty on the call. Additionally, fans can tune into KOMO 1000AM/97.7FM to hear Bob Rondeau and Jason Hamilton call the action. The series is tied all-time at 71 and UW has won four of the last five in Seattle, including overcoming a 22-point deficit last season for an 87-85 win at Hec Ed (Jan. 3).
The Coach
Head Coach Lorenzo Romar, in his 15th year at Washington, has amassed a 298-186 (.616) during his time in Seattle and an overall mark of 391-274 (.588) in 21 seasons. Romar, the longest tenured coach in the Pac-12, has taken the Huskies to the NCAA tournament six times including three Sweet 16 appearances.

• Freshman Markelle Fultz is the only player in the NCAA averaging 20 points, 6 assists and 6 rebounds as of Jan. 30 ... he is also the only player in the last 25 years to average 20-5-5 (via Sports Reference).
• Fultz's 23.3 ppg average is not only leading the Pac-12 but is on pace to be the highest scoring average by a league player in 20 years (Ed Gray, Cal, 1996-97 - 24.8) ... additionally, his conference scoring average of 25.0 leads the league by five points - the Pac-12 single-season conference scoring record is 27.8 (Reggie Miller, UCLA, 1986).
