Washington (5-5) vs. Cal Poly (5-6)
Washington will be on its third game in a stretch of seven-straight in Seattle, six of which will be played at Alaska Airlines Arena, as it hosts Cal Poly on Tuesday, Dec. 20 at 8 p.m. The game will be televised on the Pac-12 Networks with J.B. Long and Steve Lavin on the call. Additionally, fans can tune into KOMO 1000AM/97.7FM to hear Bob Rondeau and Jason Hamilton call the action. This will be the second meeting between the two programs.

The Coach
Head Coach Lorenzo Romar, in his 15th year at Washington, has amassed a 294-179 (.621) during his time in Seattle and an overall mark of 387-267 (.592) in 21 seasons. Romar, the longest tenured coach in the Pac-12, has taken the Huskies to the NCAA tournament six times including three Sweet 16 appearances.

• Washington posted a season-low nine turnovers against W. Michigan
• Washington is currently shooting 42.7 percent from 3-point range which is sixth nationally and is on pace to set the UW single-season record
• Freshman Markelle Fultz is the leading freshman scorer in the NCAA at 23.2 points per game
• Fultz posted his second 10+assist effort against W. Michigan to become the fourth player under Romar to record 10 or more assists in two or more games during a season joining all-time assists leader Will Conroy (2004-05, 5 games), NBA All-Star Isaiah Thomas (2010-11, 3 games) and Nigel Williams-Goss (2014-15, 2 games) ... Fultz is the only freshman out of the four to do so.
• Fultz is the only player in the nation averaging 20 ppg, 7.0 rpg and 6.5 apg as he is at 23.2p/7.0r/6.5a ... the only other player close is Patrick Cole of N.C. Central (20.8p/7.5r/6.2a)
• Fultz has proven he can step up in the second half this season and the numbers show that ... he is averaging 14.1 points compared to 9.1 over the first 20 minutes while also shooting at a 60 percent from the field and 62.5 percent from three compared to 40.5 and 41.7 percent during the first half ... his assist numbers also jump as he goes from 2.7 to 3.8
• Over the last three halves, sophomore David Crisp has scored 36 points (21 in the second half against Nevada; 15 vs. W. Michigan) while knocking down seven threes in that span, shooting at a 63.6 percent clip (7-of-11) ... Crisp has hit at least 3 three's in six games so far this season and is shooting 43.9 percent from long distance overall
• Since moving into the starting lineup six games ago, sophomore Noah Dickerson has almost averaged a double-double with 9.5 rebounds and 9.7 points in those six outings while shooting 45.7 percent from the field
• Dickerson has also upped his season rebounding average to 8.0 from 5.2 a year ago
• With his 118 career blocks, senior Malik Dime is in sole possession of fourth-place on UW's all-time blocks list, passing Aziz N'Diaye (2011-13) ... the school record is 189, held by Christian Welp (1984-87) ... Dime is 24 away from third (142-Todd MacCulloch, 1996-99)
• Sophomore Dominic Green has vastly improved his scoring average between his freshman and sophomore season, now putting up 9.7 per game compared to 2.7 a year ago ... he's surpassed his previous season points total against W. Michigan (2015-16-81 total points) as he is now at 97 points on the year
• Washington is currently third in the NCAA in blocks averaging 7.2 per game ... Malik Dime is 12th nationally with his 3.0 per outing ... the Huskies led the NCAA in blocks during the 2015-16 season.
• Defensively, Washington is averaging 37.1 deflections per game while also posting 6.9 steals per game ... additionally, UW is the only team in the Pac-12 with two players in the top five in steals per game in the league as Markelle Fultz is averaging 2.0 and Matisse Thybulle is at 1.9
• UW's roster has no scholarship player that was on scholarship two years ago ... there are only two players that have been here longer than one season (Dan Kingma, Greg Bowman) ..SO Matisse Thybulle is the only returning player to start in all 34 games a year ago ... SO David Crisp and SR captain Malik Dime are the other two that saw action in every game last season.
