Stewart Advances To Main Draw At Pensacola Futures

SEATTLE – Mitch Stewart has advanced to the main draw at the Pensacola Futures Championship after a win in the final round of the qualifying bracket today, defeating Colin Markes 6-2, 6-1.
Stewart began the tournament by defeating Caspar Schuetze 6-2, 6-1 in the first round Friday. Saturday he defeated John Harrison Richmond 6-3, 6-2, and went on to defeat Brandon Donaldson 6-2, 6-1 Sunday.
With only 32 total making the main draw, eight from the qualifying rounds, Stewart will face Alexios Halebian in round one on Wednesday.
