Earned four varsity letters under four different coaches at Renton ... captained the team in each of his last three years ... named to the All-Seamount League second team as a pitcher as a senior ... a first-team All-Seamount selection as a sophomore and also as a junior ... also an outstanding football and basketball player ... helped lead Renton to the state basketball tournament in each of his last three years, including a fifth-place finish as a senior ... and honorable mention all-league basketball player as a senior ... a four-year starting quarteback on the football team who also saw time as a linebacker, defensive back, kicker and punter ... earned first-team 3A all-state as a punter ... all-league at punter as a junior ... second-team all-league QB as a sophomore.
