Washington ends its regular season home schedule with a record of 12-6 at Bank of America Arena, marking the sixth-straight season that the Huskies have had a winning record at home, all under Head Coach Lorenzo Romar.
With Saturday's loss to Arizona State, Washington falls to 31-34 all-time against ASU, ending an 11-game winning streak against the Sun Devils. The loss also ends an 11-game winning streak for the Huskies on Senior Day, with their last loss in their final regular-season home game coming against No. 11 Arizona on Mar. 3 1996.
With his 21 points, Jon Brockman moves into sole possession of 20th place on Washington's all-time career scoring list with 1230 career points scored (13.2 ppg), surpassing former Husky Bobby Jones (1226 career points, 9.8 ppg), and is now tied with Jones for 8th place on the all-time list with 66 career 10-point games. Brockman also recorded his 20th double-double of the season, and has scored 20 or more points in 12 games this year.
ASU freshman guard James Harden has scored 20 or more points in 13 games this season.
Washington outscored ASU 14-2 on second chance opportunities, thanks to a 17-4 advantage in offensive rebounds (43-29 overall), a category in which Washington leads the Pac-10.
Washington's bench players have outscored opposing subs in each of the last 13 games, including a 21-10 advantage over the Sun Devils on Saturday. UW's reserves have outscored their counterparts in 23 of 27 games with a combined 729-388 margin.
The Huskies finished the first half on a 7-1 run spanning the final 5:27, holding the Sun Devils without a FG during that span.
Washington shot a season-low 27.3% (9-33) in the first half, with their previous low of 30% (9-30) coming against USC on Jan. 12, 2008.
