Huskies Recover From 16 Down To Defeat Beavers In OT

CORVALLIS, Ore. (AP) - Nate Robinson scored 25 points and hit a game-tying 3-pointer at the end of regulation as Washington stormed back from an 16-point second-half deficit to defeat Oregon State 103-99 in overtime Saturday.
Washington (6-8, 1-5 Pac-10) scored the first six points of overtime and held on to snap a five-game conference losing streak.
Oregon State (8-7, 2-3) was led by Chris Stephens with 23 points.
The Huskies, who trailed by 10 points with 5:00 left in regulation, fought back in it, converting lay-ups and three-point plays down the stretch as the Beavers failed to get back on defense.
The Beavers led 81-77, but Tre Simmons made a 3-pointer with 5.5 seconds remaining to get the Huskies within a point. Stephens converted two free throws on the other end, but Robinson hit a 3 at the buzzer to force overtime.
David Lucas had 20 points for the Beavers, who had won seven of eight against Washington. Angelo Tsagarakis had 18 points, including 5-of-10 3-pointers.
Oregon State led 40-34 at halftime and opened up a 16-point lead at 10:40, Tsagarakis hit back-to-back 3-pointers and Chris Stephens hit a jumper to make it 61-45.
The Huskies had five players in double figures. Will Conroy had 19 points and Brandon Roy had 17.
