SEATTLE (AP) - Tre Simmons scored nine of his 19 points during a late 19-4 run that put Washington ahead for good in a 104-91 victory over Eastern Washington on Saturday.
The Huskies have three straight wins to open the season for the first time since the 1998-99 campaign.
Brandon Roy scored 19 points, while Nate Robinson and Bobby Jones added 14 apiece for Washington (3-0).
Alvin Snow scored 19 points for Eastern Washington (1-3). Marc Axton and Josh Barnard, who played for Huskies during the 2001-02 season before transferring, each added 18 points for the Eagles. Brendon Merritt and Paul Butorac contributed 14 points apiece.
Washington scored 100 points for the first time since a 101-86 victory at USC on Jan. 29, 1998.
There were seven lead changes and five ties in the second half before Washington's decisive run blew open what had been a close game.
With Eastern Washington leading 76-73, Jones opened the run with two free throws and capped it with a layup off a Simmons assist that gave the Huskies a 92-80 lead with 3:13 remaining in the game.
The Huskies led by at least 10 points the rest of the way.
Washington enjoyed a huge advantage at the free throw line, making eight more free throws than the Eagles attempted.
