
UW Men's Tennis Falls to Sun Devils

SEATTLE, Wash. - - It came down to the final match, but No. 22 ranked UW men's tennis team lost to No. 63 ranked Arizona State this afternoon, 3-4. The Huskies records now stands 13-6 overall, 1-2 in the Pac 10.
Junior Andy Posavac and Senior Nick Quatrochi pulled out the only doubles win of the day for the Huskies, defeating Matt Klinger and Mitchell Bowen, 8-4. Posavac later lost to No. 98 ranked Ed Carter, 6-1, 2-6, 6-4.
In singles action, freshman Ari Strasberg swiftly defeated Matt Klinger, 6-4, 6-2. Junior Marius Lunde won against Pim Van Mele, 6-3, 7-5.
The Huskies continue Pac 10 action as they take on Arizona tomorrow starting at noon at Bill Quillian Stadium.
