2019 Summer
Between sophomore and junior seasons, played a second straight year on the U.S. Womenβs Collegiate National Team, this time in Anaheim, training and competing from June 23-29 at the American Sports Centers.
2018 (As A Sophomore)
In her sophomore season, started 29 matches in the middle, increasing her offensive production and efficiency ... an All-Pac-12 honorable mention ... averaged 1.93 kills per set and her 199 kills was third on the team ... led the team with a .315 attack percentage and hit .314 in Pac-12 play to rank ninth in the league ... second on the squad with 109 blocks for a 1.06 blocks per set average ... led or shared team lead in blocks in 12 matches ... in the NCAA Round of 16 loss to No. 7 Penn State (12/7) had 6 kills on 11 swings to hit .364 with 4 blocks ... a huge effort in the 3-0 sweep of No. 9 Creighton in the second round of NCAAs on 12/1, posting 7 kills on 10 swings to hit .600 and had 8 blocks, including one at 23-23 in the third set to reach match point ... 4 kills and 5 blocks in the NCAA round one win over Saint Maryβs (11/30) ... blocked 6 and had 4 kills in 2-3 loss at No. 20 Washington State in the regular season finale ... had 7 kills and hit .312 in five set loss to No. 17 Oregon (11/21) ... in 3-1 win over Cal (11/16) had 6 kills, hitting .308, with 5 blocks ... fifth-straight match hitting over .350 as she hit .455 (7-2-11) in sweep at No. 21 UCLA (11/10) ... one off her career-high with 16 kills on a scorching .583 Att% (16-2-24) with 3 blocks in four set win at No. 13 USC (11/8) ... in 3-1 win over No. 21 Arizona (11/4) had 6 kills, hitting .417, with 3 blocks ... scored a team-high 14.0 points with 10 kills (.350 Att%) and 7 blocks in 1-3 setback at Colorado (10/28) ... hit .438 with 10 kills, adding an ace and 3 blocks in loss at Utah (10/26) ... rejected 8 in the four set loss to No. 20 UCLA (10/19) with 6 kills on a .286 percentage ... 8 kills and her second ace of the year in 1-3 loss to No. 14 USC (10/17) ... had 6 kills and 3 blocks hitting .250 in a setback at No. 2 Stanford (10/13) ... returned to the lineup at Cal on 10/12 after missing four matches with an ankle injury and hit .364 with 5 kills and 3 blocks in the 3-0 win ... notched 12 kills and 5 blocks, hitting .304, in the 3-2 win over No. 22 WSU in the Pac-12 opener (9/20) ... put down 8 kills on a .357 Att% with 5 blocks in the 3-0 win over CSUN (9/14) ... hit .417 with 7 kills and 7 blocks in just three sets in sweep at Boise State (9/13) ... excellent outing in 3-1 win over Kennesaw State (9/8) with 10 kills on 13 swings and 2 errors for a .615 Att% with 6 block assists ... in loss at No. 13 Pitt (9/8) had 5 kills and 2 blocks ... named to All-Tournament Team at the Pac-12/Big Ten Challenge after posting 11 kills (.429 Att%) with 4 blocks against Illinois (9/1) and 9 kills (.316 Att%) and 4 blocks against Iowa (8/31) ... hit .444 with 5 kills and had 4 blocks in the second-straight win over No. 14 San Diego (8/25) ... racked up 12 kills on a new career-high 24 attacks, hitting .375 with an ace and 3 blocks in the season-opening 3-1 win over No. 14 San Diego ... a Pac-12 All-Academic honorable mention.
2018 Summer
Between freshman and sophomore seasons, played on the U.S. Women's Collegiate National Team-Detroit, training and competing from June 22-July 1 at the University of Michigan and at the site of the USA Volleyball Girls' Junior National Championships in Detroit.

An impressive first season as she started all but one match at middle blocker, earning Pac-12 All-Freshman Team honors ... in addition to the All-Freshman Team, was All-Pac-12 honorable mention ... named an All-America honorable mention by Volleyball Magazine ... a PrepVolleyball.com All-America honorable mention and All-Freshman First Team pick ... led UW in blocks with 1.45 per set to rank second in the Pac-12 and 16th in the NCAA ... her 162 total blocks were ninth in UW single season history ... had 1.63 kills per set and was second among UW hitters with a .297 attack percentage ... led UW in blocks in 19 matches ... ended season with 2 kills and 3 blocks in NCAA second round loss to Illinois (12/2) ... had 5 kills, hitting .625, in NCAA round one win over LIU Brooklyn (12/1) ... a pair of kills and 3 blocks in two sets of 3-0 sweep of Washington State in regular season finale (11/24) ... stuffed 4 and had 3 kills in two sets in sweep of Arizona (11/22) ... in sweep at Oregon (11/19) had 4 kills (4-1-8) with 2 stuffs ... rejected 6 OSU swings and had 6 kills (.294 Att%) in 2-3 loss in Corvallis (11/17) ... led the Husky block in the 3-1 win over No. 2 Stanford (11/8) posting seven blocks with a pair of kills ... hit .455 (6-1-11) and had 5 rejections in big 3-1 road win at No. 15 Utah (11/4) ... posted 6 kills (.308 Att%) and a team-high 6 blocks in the 3-0 sweep of No. 13 UCLA (10/29) ... in five set loss at No. 2 Stanford (10/19) had 8 blocks and 6 kills despite 5 errors ... scored 12.5 points with 8 kills (.316 Att%) and 7 blocks plus her first career ace in 2-3 loss to Oregon State (10/13) ... just 3 kills but 7 blocks in five set win over No. 15 Oregon on 10/11 ... earned her first Pac-12 Freshman of the Week award on 10/9 following huge weekend vs. Utah and Colorado where she averaged 3.13 kills and 2.13 blocks per set, hitting .667 ... in the sweep of No. 25 Colorado (10/8) hit .533 with 8 kills and no errors on 15 swings plus 7 rejections ... in five set loss to Utah (10/6) had a career-high 17 kills on 21 swings with just 1 error for a .762 attack percentage, which was the highest by a Husky with 17+ kills in the rally scoring era, and also had 10 blocks for a double-double ... a big 9 kills hitting .500 (9-2-14) plus 4 blocks in four set road win over No. 13 UCLA (9/29) ... hit .417 in 3-2 comeback win at Arizona State (9/24) with 7 kills and a team-leading 9 stuffs ... killed 5 and led the team with 6 blocks in 3-1 win at Washington State (9/20) ... in sweep at Maryland (9/15) had 4 blocks and 2 kills on 5 swings without an error ... hit .500 with 7 kills and 5 blocks in 3-0 win over Oklahoma (9/14) ... upped her career-best with a big 11 blocks in 3-1 win over Missouri State (9/8) adding 8 kills on 18 swings (.278 Att%) ... a second straight All-Tourney Team selection as the Huskies went 3-0 over Santa Clara, Seattle, and Cal Poly on 9/1-2 with Sanders averaging 2.44 kills per set on a .372 attack percentage with 1.56 blocks per set ... had 8 kills and 6 stuffs in the sweep of Cal Poly hitting .235 ... hit .538 with 8 kills on 13 swings and 1 error with 6 blocks in win over Seattle ... 6 kills and 2 blocks in sweep of Santa Clara (9/1) hitting .385 ... earned All-Tourney Team honors at the Husky Invitational in the first week of her career, as she had 2.30 kills per set and 2.00 blocks per set, hitting .354 ... reached double-digts for the first time in 1-3 setback vs. No. 9 Creighton (8/26) as she had 11 kills on a .348 percentage with 5 blocks, 2 solos ... in sweep of St. Maryβs (8/26) had 5 kills and 6 rejections ... stuffed 9 blocks in just 3 sets in her collegiate debut vs. Pitt (8/25) with 7 kills, hitting .583 (7-0-12).
High School and Personal
Born in Everett, Washington β¦ parents are Tiffany and Christopher Sanders β¦ has two sisters, Anna and Mary β¦ uncle, Graham Lassee, was a defensive end for the Husky football team, lettering in 2002 and 2003 β¦ one of the top recruits in the nation in her class, as she played for the U.S. Junior National Team in 2016 and was a First Team AVCA Under Armour All-American her senior year β¦ ranked No. 20 nationally in the PrepVolleyball.com annual list of Senior Aces β¦ named to the 2017 Volleyball Magazine βFab 50β of the nationβs top recruits β¦ one of twelve players named to the 2016 U.S. Junior National Team which took silver at the NORCECA U20 Continental Championships and also went 5-0 at the 2016 USA High Performance U20 Championships β¦ competed on the 2015 Girls Youth National Training Team β¦ named First Team All-WesCo all four years of her career β¦ a Seattle Times βStar Timesβ selection in 2016 β¦ played club three years for the Washington Volleyball Academy β¦ graduated with a 3.96 GPA and considering a career in nursing.
