Caleigh Ryan joined the Washington Volleyball staff in the spring of 2020 as the Director of Operations. A former volleyball letterwinner for Northwestern, Ryan came to Seattle with extensive content creation and storytelling experience from her prior work as a digital media producer/editor for the Big Ten Network.
Ryan will oversee aspects of the program’s scheduling, travel, budgeting, recruiting and content creation.
A native of Glen Ellyn, Illinois, Ryan was a setter for Northwestern from 2013-16, where she led the Big Ten Conference in assists as a freshman and was a three-time Big Ten All-Academic selection. She graduated with a B.S. in Journalism from the Northwestern Medill School of Journalism.
Ryan began her career as a Communications Assistant at the Summit League, then worked in a similar capacity for the Minnesota Timberwolves while starting as a Video Production Assistant at the University of Minnesota where she served as the videographer for the women’s volleyball team among a variety of experiences. Last fall she began at the Big Ten Network as a digital media producer/editor and the Network’s Minnesota liaison.
