Gabriela joined the University of Washington Olympic Strength & Conditioning staff in August 2016. She is responsible for Women’s Rowing, Women’s Soccer, and Women's Tennis. Quiggle came to Washington from the University of Iowa where she served as Associate Director of Olympic Strength and Conditioning. While at Iowa she oversaw the strength and conditioning programs for Women’s Basketball, Field Hockey, Men’s Tennis, and Men’s Gymnastics.
Gabriela earned a Master’s of science and Bachelors of Science degree from The University of Kansas. As an undergrad she competed for the Jayhawk Women’s Soccer team and went on to become a Graduate Assistant Strength & Conditioning coach. During her time as a graduate assistant, Gabriela worked with numerous teams, including Men’s and Women’s Basketball, Women’s Tennis, Volleyball and Cheer & Dance.
Gabriela is a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association, Strength & Conditioning Coach Certified (SCCC) through the Collegiate Strength & Conditioning Coaches Association, USAW Level 1 Club Coach from USA Weightlifting, FMS-2, and is CPR/AED certified.
